Help us ensure that mental wellbeing, including recovery from substance use, is a reality for everyone.
Despite overwhelming need, nearly 30 million people across the U.S. lack access to affordable, comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment. This critical gap in care is where we step in. Since 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing has been at the forefront of mental health and substance use care, advocating to ensure all people in the U.S. receive the quality treatment they deserve.
With your support, we can do even more.
When you donate, you make a lasting impact and advance mental health care across the nation. Your contribution will help:
- Connect people to care: Your donation will help us bring more Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics to neighborhoods nationwide, giving more people the opportunity to receive the mental health and substance use treatment they need.
- Advance health care through advocacy: Your donation will help us get critical health care policies across the finish line — from supporting legislation on suicide prevention and telehealth to expanding access to care for people in underserved communities.
- Increase mental health literacy: Your donation will help us bring Mental Health First Aid to more communities, ensuring that more people have the skills to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance use challenges in themselves and others.
- Invest in the workforce: Your donation will help us further invest in the mental health and substance use treatment workforce through the delivery of new evidence-based trainings, leadership-building programs, consulting opportunities and events.
