RFA Office Hour: Building Capacity through Rural Community Behavioral Health Organizations Mentorship and Support Program
Learn about the Request for Applications (RFA) for the Building Capacity through Rural Community Behavioral Health Organizations Mentorship and Support Program. The program is for community behavioral health organizations, harm reduction organizations, coalitions and other organizations focused on linking people who use drugs to peer support, treatment and recovery support services.
Up to 18 selected organizations will be paired with mentor organizations leading the field in rural and frontier services. Funding will support mentees as they implement, with support from their mentor organization and subject matter experts, strategies to enhance and expand critical services that reduce the risk of overdose by increasing engagement in evidence-based and innovative harm reduction strategies, linkage to care and peer support services.
Mentees will receive awards up to $83,500 to participate in the six-month program (February-July 2025). The RFA will launch Monday, Dec. 2, and applications are due no later than Dec. 16 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
