CCBHC Medical Directors and Quality Measurement

Join the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s Medical Director Institute (MDI) and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Success Center for a special webinar for CCBHC medical directors on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. ET.

This webinar will dive deeper into essential strategies for a CCBHC medical director to participate in meeting required CCBHC health performance metrics. It will address key questions and explore practical approaches to navigating quality measurement in CCBHCs. Attendees will hear from Luming Li, MD, chief medical officer for The Harris Center for Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and local mental health authority for Harris County, Texas, and Joe Parks, MD, the National Council’s principal medical advisor.

This webinar will: 

  • Take a deep dive into monitoring and managing required CCBHC health performance metrics, including how to handle quality measure requests when the organization has other quality reporting requirements outside of CCBHC items.
  • Discuss how performance measures can lead to quality improvement, including use of the continuous quality improvement (CQI) plan to guide quality projects and measurement.
  • Provide practical examples of how CCBHCs can use data to drive clinical improvement as part of their CQI process.
  • Describe the role of CCBHC prospective payment and incentive programs in connection with quality performance.
