Key Partnerships for SMVF Mental Health and Wellness
Providing services for veterans and their family members is a vital component of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. However, most CCBHCs struggle to engage with organizations such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to coordinate care for veterans. This series will deliver content focused on building effective partnership with the VA (or similar organizations) to coordinate care for members of the military.
Session 2: When working with the military-affiliated population, CCBHCs often find it necessary to partner with other organizations for referrals, authorizations and treatment coordination. This webinar will focus on how CCBHCs can partner with the VA for veteran clients and TRICARE for active-duty service member, family and retiree clients. Attendees will also learn how select CCBHCs have implemented key partnership agreements with partner organizations.
