Reimagining Behavioral Health Workforce Pathways: An Introduction to Apprenticeships
Through its Center for Workforce Solutions, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing is convening mental health and substance use leaders and organizations to seek out solutions to the workforce crisis in our field.
Join us for a conversation on the value of registered apprenticeship programs (RAPs) and work-based learning programs (WBLPs) as possible mechanisms to increase pathways for employment and expand the workforce. This webinar is aimed at organizations that are curious about whether RAPs or WBLPs could be right for them but have not yet developed established programs.
We will hear from National Council staff about the variety of workforce initiatives currently running at the National Council and how RAPs and WBLPs fit into the National Council’s workforce initiatives. We will also hear from representatives of the Health Career Advancement Program, who will discuss the steps, considerations and common barriers to establishing RAPs.
