Brie Reimann serves as Assistant Vice President, Practice Improvement and Consulting at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. In her role she provides leadership and oversight of the Integrated Health Initiatives partnering with health care providers nationally on improving healthcare for individuals living with co-occurring physical and behavioral health conditions. She has 15 years of experience working with primary care and behavioral health providers in the areas of substance use prevention and early intervention, quality improvement, and integration of behavioral health and primary care. Prior to joining the National Council, Reimann served as the Director of the SBIRT Colorado initiative where she trained primary care and behavioral health providers working in hospitals, HIV clinics, health centers, and other safety-net provider organizations to integrate substance use screening and intervention into practice and provided leadership to the University of Colorado on the Health Professional training grant with the aim to develop curriculum for nursing students and preceptors.
