Financial Sustainability of the CCBHC Workforce

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) grant awards are more than a payment source. They are opportunities for innovation in mental health and substance use care delivery, with a focus on long-term financial stability.

This resource is for CCBHCs, including Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) CCBHC Expansion grantees, to use in planning, designing and implementing the financial sustainability of the CCBHC workforce. It highlights the innovations of Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare, a community behavioral health care center in Florida, and demonstrates their strategic approach to workforce management, service delivery and resource allocation in a challenging health care landscape.
